Alumna Valeria Maldonado stars in the film Sisters. The film also stars Cristo Fernández (Ted Lasso, Spiderman: No Way Home) who is also the Executive Producer via his Espectro MX Films banner. The film tells the story of three Mexican-American sisters, following in the footsteps of their beloved grandmother, as they take an adventure through Mexico to complete a traditional pilgrimage and repair their relationship.

Sisters was an official selection for The Raindance Film Festival.
