Alumna Kelly O’Malley has co-written and produced the new film, Wake. It qualified for the California Film and Television Tax Credit Program. The film also features many Stella Adler faculty and alumni.

She is the creator of A Light in Dark Places, the nonprofit dedicated to using the arts to bring understanding, awareness and hope to those affected by suicide. ALIDP’s main endeavor is a play series called A Light in Dark Places: A Collection of Plays for Hope.

She also had roles on the stage in the World Premieres of Blanche in the Asylum, Isaac Babel and the Black Sea by Timothy McNeil and Time is Love, written and directed by Ché Walker.
